World Mental Health Day

10th October 2016

Today is World Mental Health Day!

One in four people will experience a mental health problem at some time in their lives. In Lanarkshire this means that 140,000 people will require support and/or treatment. Within this number there are around 5000 people, at any one time, who will suffer from severe and enduring mental health problems.

In Motherwell and Wishaw we have amazing organisations such as Experience Counts and Lanarkshire Links, who can offer support.

So lets remove any stigma and get ‘talking it out’.
