A MESSAGE TO ALL WOMEN BORN IN THE 1950s

12th April 2017

WASPI GLASGOW AND LANARKSHIRE

If you were a 50s baby then you will have been subject to changes in the State Pension Age with little or no notice.

These mean that you will have your Pension date delayed by up to SIX years and lose up to £45,000.

We believe the way this has been done is unfair and are protesting this.

We are now taking the Government to court to overturn this timetable and provide a fairer method for implementing the changes.

Around 249,000 women are affected in Scotland and over 3 million in the UK as a whole.

We have paid our National Insurance, so are due our State Pension.

The more of us who protest by writing the standard letters to the DWP, prepared by our lawyers, the likelier we are to win our legal challenge.

Come speak to our volunteers (who are also affected) at the Glad Café in Shawlands.

Bring your National Insurance number.

We will be happy to help you fill in the letters and get an up to date pension forecast.

This is a free service but donations towards printing costs will be welcome.

Saturday April 29th from 12 till 1pm then stay on at the meeting from 1pm -till 3pm.
