23rd June 2017

Marion Fellows, Motherwell and Wishaw MP, has been appointed as the SNP’s spokesperson for Small Business, Enterprise and Innovation at Westminster after a group reshuffle.

Marion has said she is looking forward to getting to work to ensure small businesses locally and nationally are able to grow and thrive.

Commenting, Marion said:

“I am delighted to be appointed to the role and can’t wait to get to work representing small businesses and encouraging enterprise and innovation in the workplace.

“As a former college business lecturer, I had close links with relevant agencies and I will be looking to update and expand these.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economies. It is therefore essential that they are able to grow and thrive.

“Locally there is a lot to be done to revive our town centres and create employment. I’m hoping to bring together local stakeholders to do just that.”
