Despite the taxpayer being the major shareholder in the Royal Bank of Scotland, branches will be cut across the country leaving many in their local area without the services they expect from their bank – particularly the elderly who are less likely to use online banking.
RBS is being allowed to do what it wishes due to UK Government inaction. The PM should be listening to communities, not banking executives.
