Tuesday brought a busy day of parliamentary business for Marion, with meetings, briefings & APPGs taking up most of the morning and afternoon at Westminster.
Wednesday (20th April 2016)
The weekly meeting of the Education Select Committee took place on Wednesday morning, focussing on social work reform, with more parliamentary business throughout the afternoon.
Wednesday also marked the launch of the SNP’s manifesto ahead of May’s Scottish Elections.

On Thursday, Marion welcomed Mhairi Black MP to the constituency as she supported the campaign to elect Clare Adamson as MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw in May.

Friday (22nd April 2016)
On Friday, Marion was out in the constituency – firstly spending the morning with Clare Adamson at the Haven coffee morning at Netherton House, Wishaw General Hospital.
The Haven provides care, complementary therapies and information to people affected by life limiting illness such as Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease and also to their carers and family members.

Marion also attended the celebratory feast day mass at Our Lady’s High School in Motherwell on Friday, getting the chance to speak to some of the teaching staff over lunch.

Saturday (23rd April 2016)
On Saturday, Marion was delighted to attend the Dalziel Rugby Festival, presenting some of the prizes and meeting local people.
