FELLOWS AND ADAMSON VISIT LOCAL BUSINESS ENEVATE HOMES IN WISHAW

SNP MP Marion Fellows and SNP MSP Clare Adamson paid a visit to Enevate Homes in Wishaw, demonstrating their ongoing support of local businesses.

Enevate Homes are considered specialists in volumetric construction. The company utilises their unique modular building system and highly engineered structural steel frames manufactured at their Wishaw based facility, from high quality grade S355 steel.

Enevate designs, builds and installs bespoke, steel framing systems for residential, education, leisure and commercial applications.

The company is dedicated to being a responsible employer within North Lanarkshire and is fully committed to offering employment opportunities throughout the local community. 

The company have a target to double their apprenticeship intake for the 2024 academic year and will be engaging with local partners and schools to achieve this.

Ms Fellows, MP for Motherwell and Wishaw, lauded the motivated and value-driven ambitions of Enevate Homes and Quality, Environment, Safety and Health (QESH) Manager John McMurray:

“I first visited Enevate as an MP in 2015, and I am so pleased to see the business growing and developing.

“Enevate is a staple in the Wishaw and Motherwell community. The company offers invaluable apprenticeship opportunities through local partnerships, including with New College Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire College and West Lothian College.

“An incredible boost on the local economy, I was thrilled to see this past summer the company post a 118% increase in business as the need for a sustainable housing solution continues to grow. For any young person looking to get involved in the trades, consider an apprenticeship at Enevate.”

Ms Adamson, MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw, said:

“It was a pleasure to meet with the staff and apprentices at Enevate homes

“With 85% of the production process completed at the factory, I had the opportunity to see first-hand the impressive modular builds that the company are producing

“I was delighted to hear that they will be expanding their apprenticeship programme and I encourage anyone interested to look out for their upcoming Open Day events”
