Yet another defeat for Boris Johnson tonight as Parliament takes one more step towards legislating against no deal Brexit. SNP MPs will vote for a General Election to take down the Tories if there is a cast iron guarantee that no deal Brexit will not happen. We will not allow Boris Johnson to trick Parliament into an election so he can wind down the clock to no deal which would result in shortages of food, medicines, and investment. Ordinary people will pay the price of no deal – not Johnson and his cronies.
